About Oculus

Oculus Architecture® seeks balance through a concept driven design. The idea of involving site, program, and philosophy provides a unique balance of these three influences. Every project is unique because the site is different, the program requirements vary and the philosophy evolves and refines itself during the conceptual process.

Concept Driven

Oculus Architecture® along with its affiliates, offer a bold approach through the use of light in space, both from solar and electrical sources. Our team is focused on the ideal that a comprehensive approach to problem solving must be the key to any design solution.

Design excellence is one of the most recognized strengths of Oculus. With our proven success in regional and national competition projects, we continue to push the boundaries of architecture with optimism. Our multidisciplinary team is appropriately tailored for each unique commission and is actively engaged with clients and collaborating specialists.

We believe that excellence in design will add tremendous value to our clients' endeavors, its users, and to the environment. In order to create great architecture results it must be based on timeless expression gained through experiences, education and technological advancement. Finding a proper balance among these objectives is crucial.

Oculus Architecture® planning philosophy concentrates on entire regions and cities, as well as on an individual site. Oculus focus is on coherent ideas that anticipate human needs and are progressive in their direction.

Paul's success and his creative capability as a promising young professional is explicitly evidenced by his exceptional portfolio. In particular, his competition entries for the "Visitors Sports Pavilion" and the Graham Foundation's "Townhouse" exhibition demonstrate his commitment, and his technical design expertise, to use the energy-systems technology in architectural solutions for a more sustainable environment. His designs clearly indicate his balanced concern for the impact of architecture on people and the environment, the use of sophisticated technology, and the desire, and ability to create beauty through his architecture.
